Soak Bathhouse Alexandria

Soak house Alexandria was such an amazing experience. Throughly enjoyed and would highly recommend. So relaxing, peaceful and a wonderful way to unwind after a long week at work. Great for your back and muscles. Staff were very helpful and nice and always making sure the place is clean. Do yourself a favour and book today :)

I visited Soak Alexandria over the weekend for a mini hens/spa day with my sister and mum, and overall it was a really lovely experience. The location itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and lush gardens that set the tone straight away. Street parking was easy (they do offer free parking, but as we were heading out for dinner afterwards, it was easier for us to walk). From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything was clearly explained, and we felt very well looked after. We each enjoyed an hour-long massage. The therapists were amazing. My only small critique is that I would have preferred a private room for the massage, though the space was still quiet and relaxing enough overall. The soak facilities and bathrooms were genuinely beautiful and clean. There were plenty of staff circulating throughout the space, keeping everything fresh and tidy, and they all seemed relaxed and happy. Even though it was busy, it never felt overcrowded...the atmosphere was fun, social, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I will absolutely be going back. The only things I wouldn’t do again are paying $10 for a robe (as towels are already provided- in my opinion, the robe isn’t really necessary) and the $10 drink, which I expected to be a fresh or mixed beverage but turned out to be a choice of canned flavoured sodas. First time trying the bathhouse and absolutely feeling refreshed for the day. Very nice atmosphere and well designed venue. To top it off they even provide a good selection of fine tea. My favourite was the chai. Sipping while taking a dip was so good. Thanks to Mariana for accommodating me on this first experience.

I had a really lovely experience at Soak Bathhouse Alexandria last Monday (Easter Monday). We arrived late for the appointment, but Amanda was still so kind and accommodating she managed to give me a 15-minute massage, and I truly appreciated that. There’s something about her that feels so warm and comforting, almost like a mother’s touch. I can’t really explain it, but she made me feel instantly calm and at ease. I’d also like to thank Christian at the front desk for being so patient and understanding with me, it really made a difference. Overall, the experience was great. This was actually my second visit, and this time I came with my boyfriend, he really enjoyed it too, especially the private infrared room. Came here after hearing a great review from one of our family members that attended! We loved it. We did the early session as it was our first time, but we loved it. So easy to process the different steps in the pools. Has a steam room, plus a sauna. Plunge pool and 2 hot pools. I will definitely make this an every fortnight visit!
