This restaurant was a surprise hit with our group. We are staying in the area and needed food late on a Tuesday night. We are so glad we went. The food was delicious and the portions are huge. We decided to order kitchen items instead of the Korean BBQ and we were not disappointed. This is easily one of our favorite Korean restaurants we've ever been to.
I loved everything about this restaurant like its aesthetic, cleanliness, staff, and food! The little screen with past reviews was a cute touch too. The food came out quick, we were frequently taken care of even when it began to get busy around dinner time, and our waiter took time to have small conversation and engage with us as customers. It was an overall pleasant experience and I walked out extremely full and satisfied.
Korean BBQ was great and lots of sides to choose from. Biggest cons for us was the grill grates were flaking off the Teflon, almost asked for another one before we started, but all the tables were in the same condition (see photo). The shrimp is still shelled and not deveined, which would definitely have been preferable as the utensils are chopsticks and I'm not a fan of eating the poop shoot in my shrimp. Our favorite side was the egg pudding, and favorite meats were the brisket and bulgogi beef. It's also nice that soft drinks/tea are included with the BBQ meal.
The closest comparison I have is KPOP BBQ, and I think this restaurant can be more expensive (for the actual BBQ) or less depending on what you order. I really enjoyed the plate that I got here and the portions are very large for the price. I got the bulgogi lettuce wraps and some of my friends got the chicken katsu. We were all pleasantly surprised! Plus you get all the delicious sides.
It was a Friday evening that we came here for dinner and it wasn’t busy at all! Our waitress wasn’t too attentive, we always had to get her attention to get more ban chans! We order the seafood pancake (it was chewy and very flavorful but not too many fillings of seafood) we had the P1 combo (there were plenty of food for 2 people) the prime ribeye steak was the best meat! They don’t really come back to make sure you’re doing ok with your food and refills of water or anything!
