Love the black sesame bingsu and the injeolmi toast. Waited 20 minutes for our table on a Saturday night. Parking is available inside the parking structure and is validated by the restaurant.

Always go there to get some nice shaved ice and drink. Unfortunately, today I went and ordered strawberry bingsoo and pomegranate mint drink for the first time and the taste wasn’t good, tastes nothing like pomegranate but mint toothpaste. That was ok. But the worst thing is I didn’t finish my drink and I carry it back home while drinking it in the car I feel something hard in my mouth and I split it out.. it’s a sharp broken plastic piece.. I call them when I got home but no one picked up the phone.. imagine if I drink it too fast.. it would go into my stomach and i wouldn’t know it! Not sure if there were smaller particles that I might actually swallowed it already… 🤦🏻‍♀️ what can I do about this?

After a lovely dinner down the street, we couldn't leave LA without some dessert in our stomachs. If I'm going to be forced to sit in traffic, I need something to help hold me over. The plaza was bustling and there was a line forming out the door over at Sul and Beans, which something to be expected on a Friday night. Luckily, the staff members were going through the line quickly. We ordered Injeolmi Bingsoo and some coffee to help fend off the food coma. For those who aren't familiar, Injeolmi is a finely ground powder with a nutty aroma, commonly used with chewy rice cakes made from dried soybeans. Its savory profile balances the sweetness of the condensed milk, creating the perfect "not so sweet" combination. The brightly lit open space was refreshing as K-town sometimes induces claustrophobia without forewarning. Sul and Beans is always the safe choice if you're looking to grab a table, some hot/cold dessert and be able to talk with your friends until your mouth falls off.

It's even more delicious because it's not just shaved ice, but made with shaved milk. The red bean paste that comes with it isn't too sweet, and they give you individual bowls to scoop up, making it easy to share. I highly recommend the black sesame red bean shaved ice!

After our KBBQ gorge, we grabbed dessert at Sul & Beans in the MaDang Courtyard in Ktown. It was popular and busy, with a line out the door. We ordered the banana bingsoo, and it was enough for all of us. We poured the condensed milk on top, and dove in. I have had bingsoo before, but it’s been a while. What a welcome return! Parking in the plaza.
