Sura Korean Royal Cuisine Restaurant Vancouver

Visiting from Toronto stoped by with no reso on a Friday night and Tyler made it happen even had the best siting area in the restaurant (photo below). Very cozi spot and attentive staff ( big thanks to Ralph ) service was perfect and super fast. we got the sura chicken (100/10) and the Japchae, both were Terrific so definitely recommend.

lSura had incredible food and service. We went on a Friday night, so we did have to wait, but it was only about 15 minutes before we were seated. I ordered the No. 23 Doenjang Jjigae, and my friend got the No. 27 Bulgogi Bibimbap. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. They also gave us unlimited side dishes, including kimchi, fish cake in sweet soy sauce, and mashed potatoes. The food felt traditional, comforting and thoughtfully prepared. Some of the seating is in a traditional Korean style, which adds to the restaurant’s warm and inviting ambiance. They also offer a small vegetarian menu. I am not sure if they have vegan or gluten free options, but the server did ask me about allergies.

Went to Sura at the opening hour for the lunch special with my friend. We got incredible service from the three ladies who served us; they were really attentive and looked like they were having so much fun. The sheer diversity of plates for the price is jaw-dropping; we got to taste some things we'd never had before. I loved everything, especially the noodles and the fish. Next time I fly back to Vancouver, I'll stop here again for sure.

The set lunch for 2 is great value and delicious! There was such an amazing variety of dishes - soup, salad, noodles, cold dishes… it was lovely! We came for lunch on a weekday and there was no wait. Highly recommend!

The gamjatang and spicy pork bulgogi were excellent 😋 Both the main dishes and the side dishes were well-prepared and full of flavor, showing great attention to detail. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable 😄 Sura is a truly outstanding Korean restaurant. I would definitely visit again❣️
