Love this place!!! I now make the sauna, cold plunge and vitamin c shower a part of my routine and I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is the only place I can get a full reset after a hard days work. I work two jobs so I fit a contrast therapy session in between and it makes me feel energized and ready to go the extra mile for the rest of my day. What makes it even better is after doing contrast therapy for several months I noticed that my pants were actually getting looser and I dropped a pant size! I literally lost a great deal of bloating I was holding on my stomach- turns out I just needed to detox it out. So happy that I found Sweathouz! There is nothing better than starting to glow into my true self :)
Went here on a friends recommendation and it was awesome. The suites with the sauna and the cold plunge are super nice. Everything's really high quality. The attendant at the front was super helpful and nice. Her name was Avery and she is knowledgeable and helpful. highly recommend!!
I’ve been coming here for over a year now, and it’s truly become one of my favorite wellness spaces. The cold plunge and sauna setup is consistently clean, well-maintained. What really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. Super friendly staff who greet you by name. You never feel rushed, and they’re always happy to answer questions. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, calming, and uplifting space to recharge—physically and mentally.
I was surprised how much I liked it. I thought sauna, cold plunge yeah yeah but it was great!! Really clean. Pretty slippery, though, watch out. I almost ate it going back into the sauna after the cold plunge. Bring extra towels if you have more than 1 person, they only give you 2. They gave me one when I popped my head out and asked though. I guess its common for bathhouses not to change the water, as people mentioned before, but if you think of it more like a swimming pool its not as gross. I wanted to buy a membership immediately. Highly recommend.
I visited Sweathouz on 3/17 hoping for a peaceful and relaxing experience while grieving the recent passing of my mom. Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk made an already difficult time even worse. This was actually one of my favorite places to come and relax, and I had referred plenty of people there over time, including some who even became members. That’s part of why this experience was so disappointing and upsetting to me. The employee at reception was rude, dismissive, and overly pushy about selling additional services after I clearly stated multiple times that I only wanted the suite prepared and to charge the card (which is what they usually do) for my guest. Instead of listening, he continued pressuring me, widening his eyes, stating it's $30 multiple times, which made the interaction uncomfortable and stressful. I also explained to him that my mom had just passed away and that I simply wanted to relax and to stop the sales talk, but he continued with the sales pressure anyway. When I asked for his name because of how rude and dismissive he was being, he responded with “Bob” in a sarcastic, attitude-filled manner. What was also concerning was that he appeared to provide a false name when asked. Professionalism, empathy, and honesty matter — especially in wellness spaces where people come to decompress or heal. To make matters worse, I was told today by another staff member, Avery, that I was no longer allowed to return to Sweathouz Daly City. I genuinely do not understand this, considering I was the customer who experienced the poor treatment, disrespect, and lack of professionalism in the first place. I came in looking for peace and left feeling upset and disappointed. Dwayne the owner left me a message in March but I never received a call back. I understand he is busy and helping other sweathouz brances but it would be great to receive a call back. I left a message for him today, 5/26/26 because I would like to hear an explanation on what the ban was about. I hope management takes customer experience and staff conduct more seriously moving forward.
