Not worth your money. Mangos are not sweet, coconut cream/milk has no taste ( I am guessing that is mixed with water to reduce cost)....everything are so watery. It's my first time here, never coming back....
Sweet Mango is one of our go to places when we are looking for an after dinner hang out. Usually able to get a table before it gets super crowded and we have to wait. We can come here with adults and kids and the menu has something for everyone. Desserts are decent. The only one that I had that seems lacking is the sesame balls in ginger soup. Balls are a little small and not shareable if you’re like me and like them! 😅
Most of the dessert places all had like mid reviews so it was a matter of picking which one. We decided to try this place out since we were both thirsty. Employees were friendly and helpful. You can only pay with cash or Venmo. Kind of weird for being in 2025. Mine was supposed to be strawberry but yeah it’s mostly just strawberry flavored powder. I wished they used real fruit since there are markets selling fruit nearby. 2 stars is generous enough.
Decent. Nothing crazy special. I will say, if you're looking for something full of sugar, they're practitioners of the ancient Chinese cooking method of "not too sweet". If you have the average bay area taste buds and will down an arsicault without batting an eye, you're going to hate this place.
Loooove this place, been coming here for 7 years now. My favorites are the glutinous rice balls in mango juice w/mixed fruits, sesame paste with glutinous rice balls, and jade toast :D I bring all my friends here, and my little sisters ask me to bring them here any time they visit SF. There's something on the menu for everyone and prices are reasonable, more affordable than Kowloon. Service is ok, what you can expect from a Hong Kong cafe. There is an area to self-serve surprisingly good hot tea or ice water.
