Tality Shipyards is honestly such a vibe. It’s become my absolute go-to for a total nervous system reset when life feels like it’s moving at a million miles an hour. There is nothing like the smell of that massive cedar sauna to ground you, and the contrast of hitting those cold plunges is the ultimate wake up call. It’s intense, but you feel so empowered afterward. It’s the perfect place to just shut off the noise, focus on your breath, and actually feel present. Plus, sipping on that house made kombucha in between rounds is the best little ritual. If you’re looking for a spot that’s high performance but still feels like a sanctuary, this is 100% it. It’s easily the best way to clear your head and leave feeling like a brand new human.

I have been a regular since fall of 2023. I aim to go four times a week and appreciate the array of times offered in a day. Having lots of options for a cold plunge goes a long way and the beverages offered is the cherry on top. The main event is the sauna, of course. Lots of room and it has the ability to get warmer than other I have been in Vancouver or elsewhere.

This was my first time trying a cold plunge and sauna experience and absolutely loved it. I really like how they had different temperatures of the cold plunge available so you could go to whatever level of cold you wanted based on how experienced and comfortable you felt. Everything was really clean and so aesthetic! Love how they give you the bathrobes and the slippers as well. Really nice fireplace outside and a great way to spend an afternoon with friends. A special shout out to the blackberry lavender kombucha! I did not know I was a kombucha person until I tried this. I even asked them where they bought it from so I could go buy some myself but it turned out that they actually make it at one of their locations!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The ppl were really nice. I liked being able to sit outside by the fire and look outside surrounded by beautiful fragrant plants and a nice blue sky with seagulls above. The cold tubs and sauna were super clean and I enjoyed putting the scents on rocks in the sauna to make it smell divine. I highly recommend.

I had a fantastic time at Tality Shipyards We felt welcomed by the calming atmosphere and the friendly, attentive staff. Many reviewers comment on how the space “feels like an under-lit oasis,” and I agree — it’s a place to disconnect from daily stress and focus on yourself. The modern amenities are impressive: a cedar sauna, multiple cold plunge tubs, private showers, robes and towels all included, plus a beverage bar serving kombucha, herbal teas, and rotating bubbly brews. What stood out to us: • The contrast of heat and cold was invigorating — each plunge felt like a reset for your body and mind. • The lounge and patio spaces are cozy and inviting, perfect for quiet reflection or chatting with others. • Staff were kind, knowledgeable, and created a welcoming environment • The social vibe is strong — some say it leans more lively than ultra-zen, which is great if you enjoy a bit of energy mingled in with your wellness. If I were to suggest one small thing, it might be to keep an eye on timing — with only so many cold plunge tubs, you sometimes wait your turn during busier sessions. But honestly, that didn’t detract from the experience. All in all: 5 stars from me. Tality Shipyards offers a rare mix of therapeutic contrast therapy, modern design, and community energy. Can’t wait for our next visit! 🧊
