탄광 - Tan Kwang Korean BBQ

This is literally the best Korean BBQ that I ever had in my life. I was so surprised about it because this place is even way much better than the actual places that I visited in Korea. The place is clean the interior and the vibe is very cool like the name of the place ’탄광‘ which means coal mine in Korean, the aromas you get from the charcoal is totally another level. You can experience the best level of Korean BBQ without even going to Korea. For me I don’t even have to consider any other options from now on when it comes down to Korean BBQ. No doubt this is the best. I’m sure this will be my favorite restaurant in HCMC of all time.

HIDDEN GEM!! I think it’s my fav new Korean bbq spot in Saigon. You get your own platter of banchan, all refillable. You even get a buffet of different salts and truffle oil for each meat set, it’s so so good! Def try the beef with peper salt and kimchi together. We tried to beef set A for 2.1M, could easily feed 3-4 people if also ordering some side dishes or eating all the banchans and refilling. Def try the Bulldak noodles, they were so creamy with a spicy kick lingering after. Friendly staff. Clean, sleek, calm interior. Big portions. You get a free dessert when sharing a review. Love it!

It seemed quite busy during dinner time, so this time I visited a little after lunch hours. This was my second visit, and once again I had a very satisfying dining experience thanks to the friendly staff and delicious food. I was especially impressed by the neatly prepared individual table settings and the attentive service. If you want to enjoy comfortable and authentic Korean BBQ in Ho Chi Minh City, I would definitely recommend this place.

Overall very good experience dining at Tan Kwang Korean BBQ. The service staff is attentive and detail oriented, vibe is classy without being too intimidating and not to mention the food! The beef and pork was grilled with attention and just nicely charred. Love that they have 15% off happy hour between 1130-3pm during off peak period. It was a very good k bbq experience

Nice food and a great place to enjoy with friends. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing, perfect for catching up. The food was tasty and fresh, and the staff were friendly. Would definitely come back again!
