The Butcher's Dining

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience at this cozy boutique korean grocer-dining mart, the food here are fresh, and we selected the type of meat we wanted before getting them cooked in-house by the chefs. They included lots of freebies like the pink makgeoli shots, sides, and grilled veggies. We got the few types of meats, and all the pork and beef taste incredible. They even label the cut after grilling them! Beef ribs/outside skirt & Pork collar were my favourite, eaten together with the perilla leaves and (requested) raw garlic. The peeled tomatoes were so good we bought 2 jars of it home afterwards lol. Overall, the space is meticulously designed and food/drink options are consciously chosen to provide a warm experience. The ambience is peaceful. Servers are attentive. And we also befriended one of the directors Lucy during our visit, it’s a very comfortably homely vibe to dine in. Highly recommended! Perhaps can consider coming around 6-6.30pm afterwork as families starting streaming in around 7-7.30pm PS: the sorbet is too sweet for our liking

Lovely Korean restaurant, with a butchery up in the front with Korean ingredients for purchase (including Makgeolli), and a small space inside where they serve either set meals or meat which you have asked them to grill (for a fee). Loved the marinated galbi and the beef. The bok soon red rice Makgeolli was excellent. Loved the nice touch of a finishing drink and a palate cleanser of a sorbet.

It was such a great find, though a little on the pricier side. A few negatives from me is that there was no korean beef (all US beef), and there was no gochujang sauce/salt plate given until requested, which to me is basic when you eat beef. Besides those things, I must say that service is friendly and swift, food tasted really good, and damun makgeolli was available. Best part was the outdoor tables are dog friendly.

interesting butcher shop plus restaurant concept! best cut of meat out of the 3 we tried was definitely the beef outskirt! loved the banchans so much!! cosmos ale was not bad too! beef tartare was so huge i definitely recommend it for sharing instead as 2 of us couldnt finish it. wish they had the option for us to grill our own meat though! they didn't ask us for how well done we would like our meat but luckily the doneness it was perfect for us. would come back to order the ala carte menu to try!

Great Korean restaurant , loved it! It is a butchery plus restaurant concept. You choose the cut and the kitchen will grill it for you for a fee, which includes free flow of sides, a drink , soup and dessert. The kimchi is top notch and well worth the price. We ordered beef short ribs and pork belly and collar. I must say, the pork test better for me. We also ordered the beef tartar , cold noodle and pancake as ala carte and they were spot on. The cold noodles was so good we ordered a second round. I am already thinking of which friends I am bringing here for a good meal!
