I booked a birthday spa package for my mother and made it very clear that this was a surprise gift and that I would not be present. I called ahead, spoke with a representative, explained that it was my mother’s birthday, and asked for the entire process to be seamless. I chose the highest package, put my card on file, and was never once told that I would need to be physically present with the card. My mother drove approximately 40 minutes for her appointment. When she arrived, she was told that payment was still needed because I was not there with my physical card. If my mother had not brought her own card, she would have had to drive all the way back home without receiving services on her birthday. Since I was in church at the time, I had to step outside to take the call and try to sort everything out. I was then told that only a deposit had been placed on the card, despite my understanding that everything had already been arranged. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. My mother was taken to the wrong room for the wrong service. Staff later realized the mistake, interrupted the service, and moved her to another room. After completing one treatment, she was advised not to use the wet steam room because of the products that had been applied and was instead told to use the sauna. Then she was told she was done for the day. She checked out and left believing her birthday package was complete. Later, the spa called and informed her that she still had additional services remaining. The employee who checked her out never mentioned this, and no one realized she was supposed to continue on to her massage and remaining treatments. Had my mother not called me and had I not contacted the spa, she never would have known she was missing part of the package I paid for. The scheduling, communication, and coordination from beginning to end were a complete breakdown. To be fair, my mother did say the staff was friendly, the facility was clean, and she enjoyed the portions of the services she received. My frustration is not with the staff’s friendliness or the cleanliness of the spa. It is with the booking process and the multiple communication failures that turned what should have been a relaxing birthday gift into a stressful and disappointing experience. I spoke with a manager afterward, and even he seemed dumbfounded by everything that had happened. For a business centered around relaxation and customer experience, I expected much better communication, organization, and attention to detail.

The only spa i can really compare this to is Bath house in williamsburgh. But in my opinion this was a much better option. That being said its much more expensive but if you’re willing to spend the money the experience is much better. It’s a large facility with very nice staff. The expectation is that you are nude when in your gender specific area, and you wear the clothes they give you in the shared areas. Swim suit can be worn but they have a dress policy. I received a full body scrub and it was amazing. There’s a cafeteria and lounge area to hangout after or before your treatments.

I have an hour skin scrub, It was amazing and feels good. Staffs were friendly , helpful and professional skill. sauna and hot tub were good and clean.Downstairs also have dry sauna/ Red Clay Room / rest area to take a nap/ game . And if you feed hungry they also have some food as well. I been there two times already and I come back for sure. Recommend!

The Spa Club offers an upscale Korean-style spa experience in the heart of Manhattan. The environment is elegant, clean, and incredibly relaxing from the moment you arrive. The service is outstanding — every staff member is professional and attentive. I had a body scrub, and my skin felt unbelievably soft afterward, truly baby-smooth. I also received a facial, and my face looked visibly lifted, refreshed, and glowing. I came in with a bad headache, but after the massage, I felt completely relieved and refreshed. The quality of the treatments and the overall atmosphere exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a refined, authentic Korean spa experience, this is the place. I left feeling renewed and extremely satisfied. Highly recommend!

A wonderful first time experience at a Korean spa. I tried both the Aromatic Sugar Scrub w/ Honey Milk Silk Body Wrap and the 40-min. Basic K-Scrub. I found the Aromatic Sugar Scrub to be a more gentle and Western, but overall less satisfying, of the two experiences. The Basic K-Scrub felt so relaxing. My treatment specialist was so kind, and was wonderful at giving me instructions on where to move and what she was doing. I'm so glad I did it; afterwards, I felt so comfortable and at ease relaxing in the gender-segregated steam sauna and hot water bath. The Aromatic Sugar Scrub really couldn't compare. I also really enjoyed the Hot Pot Bulgogi for lunch. Looking forward to returning soon.
