I stopped by for a quick color analysis today and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been curious about it for a long time, and the experience was both fun and really informative. It was the perfect little stop in my day.

Hailey was awesome! It was fun learning about what clothes, makeup, and hair color look best on me. Was also given a guide to take home. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend getting your color analysis at Angel Beauty Supply in Japantown. Hailey fully explained the rationale for why I looked good in cool winter tones. This was a fun experience!

I received a $169.99 gift certificate for a 40–50 minute Personal Color Analysis and made a 2-hour drive to my March 21 appointment. After seeing how other analysts run this service, I was genuinely excited. Scheduling was easy and communication on Instagram was prompt, those were both great. I arrived at 11:45am and was seated immediately. But the session itself? It was over by 12:35pm, which means it ran short of the advertised time. The color station is right at the front of the store, no privacy, no ambiance. It felt more like a busy retail transaction than a $170 personalized experience. Hailey moved quickly through a PowerPoint, held up color swatches, handed me a printout, and that was that. I never had a chance to ask a single question. I also would have appreciated practical guidance, the colors that suit me best aren't shades I currently own or wear often, so leaving without any "here's how to apply this" advice made the whole thing feel incomplete. I was so rushed at the end that I walked out without even tipping, which is not something I'd normally do. For nearly $170 and a 4-hour round trip, I expected something memorable and thorough. Other providers at this price point are giving clients a calm, immersive experience. This didn't come close.
