A truly legendary place. The décor is amazing, the atmosphere is chill and fun, and the drinks are generous. The karaoke catalog is good enough, although they could use apple music to get some more recent songs! (I couldn’t find anything from Beyoncé’s later albums, for instance) The rooftop is a MUST. Come take pictures and enjoy the cityscape!
I went on a weekday, staff was so kind and were speaking fluent English. They explained different options. Interior wasnt crowded since it was middle of the week, which made everything better. I stayed until closing time. Had a lot of fun, met with new people.
Great night club located in downtown. Be prepared to go up the stairs, but it's just the beginning o the experience. Each floor has a room - first with games to play, another with a big room, bar and karaoke, going up there is a restaurante and on the rooftop the dj plays all night. Great experience if you want to immerse yourself in the real paulistano party.
My wife and I were visiting São Paulo from the USA and wanted to sing some karaoke. We're very happy we found Tokyo! One of the staff, João, was very helpful for us English speaking tourists by describing how the bar and lounge operates. You are given a charge card, and settle up at the end of the night. We had an issue with our credit card, but thankfully they accepted Google Pay on my device. Everybody was very friendly! We made friends with some hospitable paulistas, a visitor from Germany and even saw other Americans. The karaoke bar was like a party atmosphere, and the upstairs dancing was a great deal of fun with an amazing view to go with it. We came on a Tuesday, and while the evening began quietly, by midnight, the place was very busy. Food was better than we thought it would be. We really enjoyed their ceviche. Drinks were good, unfortunately, no beer on draft. We highly recommend for a night out!
The atmosphere is undeniably good and unique. Karoake experience is great, and so is the dancing floor. Rooftop view is gorgeous and the place is very safe and throughly monitored. Regarding the food, their exclusive drinks are very good, specially Marajós. Jägerbomb is also very good and well-served. Food is ok, particularly tasty after a couple hours of dancing, but expensive. Service is nice, but sometimes your order is incorrect - maybe beacuse of the constant (and expected) noise. Would recommend double-checking after each order.
