Toto Private Sauna

The place is so clean, and the amenities and services are just too good to be true...! The sauna is, of course, top-notch, but you can choose from a variety of swimsuits for rental, and you get two drinks, and a wide selection of löyly oils, and they even have high-quality hair dryers and hair oils like you'd find in a beauty salon, and to top it all off, they give you free Häagen-Dazs ice cream...! It was an almost unbelievable level of hospitality...!

The amenities are impressive, but the crucial element of "relaxation" is completely neglected. First, the amenities are excellent. A full range of salon-exclusive products are available, reflecting the discerning eye of a hairdresser-owner. This aspect alone is definitely a plus. However, everything else is truly disappointing. The overall space lacks unity, with influencer photos and handwritten signs scattered across the walls. Many items make you wonder, "Is this really necessary?", cluttering the otherwise beautiful interior. The window-like display also looks tacky, with dangling cords that are distracting. It ruins the atmosphere and is a shame. And the biggest problem is the cold bath. The enamel bathtub is simply filled with water, without a chiller or circulation system. The tap labeled "Super Cold Water" only dispenses lukewarm water. While it cools down slightly after a while, the water temperature is far too dependent on the outside temperature, making it completely unstable. It lacks definition and is far from a relaxing environment. The sauna is a single-tiered setup with low humidity. While the löyly (steam) does increase the heat somewhat, those seeking significant sweating may find it unsatisfying. Furthermore, the infinity chairs for relaxation had a foul odor, and the reclining mechanism was poor. Instead of feeling refreshed, discomfort was the primary feeling. Overall, while the aesthetics and amenities are impressive, the core elements of the sauna experience—sauna, cold plunge, and relaxation—are missing. For those who regularly enjoy saunas, this facility is quite disappointing.

The amenities were plentiful, so I literally went empty-handed! Sauna hats and swimsuits were available for rental. ✨️ I was happy that they provided not only lotion and milky lotion, but even body cream. I was also happy that they had a sufficient number of towels: two bath towels and one face towel. You could choose two drinks, and there was a water server in the room. You could also do self-loyly, and it was great that you could choose the scent. I also received a Häagen-Dazs as a souvenir, which was amazing!

(Addendum: Second visit) This time, I went alone! It was a different room. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable, and fun. --------------------------------- Enter through the cafe entrance on the first floor and take the elevator on your left. Once inside, you'll be greeted by a reception desk roughly one tatami mat in size. You'll complete your LINE and visitor registration, choose your drink, and then be shown to your room. Drinks available include Aquarius, Real Gold, Calpis, and carbonated drinks. You can choose up to three per person. You can also rent sauna hats and swimsuits. The hats are character-themed, and they even have Slowpoke on offer. You'll need to take off your shoes and bring them into your room. (There's a place to store them right next to each room.) Once you're shown to your room, your chosen drink will be placed in the refrigerator, and you'll be given instructions on how to use the facilities and any important precautions. A water dispenser and cups are provided, so you can drink water freely. There were two sinks, separated by a wooden board. One of them seemed to be geared toward women, as it stocked basic cosmetics (Shu Uemura cleanser, toner, emulsion, Diane body lotion) and hair care products (ReFa hair iron, hair oil, hair ties). There were also chargers. Both sinks had hair dryers (one was ReFa). I've listed the brand names as best I can remember, but they were all branded. They were quite well stocked. Towards the sauna, there was a single shower booth, a bathtub with cold water, a sauna, and two infinity chairs. Both the sauna and the cold bath booth had a very nice atmosphere. The sauna was about 2 tatami mats in size, and two people could fold their legs and use it at the same time. Aromatherapy loyly was also available, and you could choose from about five different aromas. The scents were quite strong. You could stretch your legs in the cold bath. It was quite cold. The infinity chairs could be reclined quite easily. The shower booth was a bit disappointing, as it only had enough space for one person and the water pressure was weak. However, the amenities were also substantial (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, cleanser, and VT face wash). I did three rounds in two hours. You'll receive a call on the phone in the changing room 15 minutes before your reservation ends. At that time, you'll be asked if you'd like some ice cream to eat in your room, and if you don't have time, they'll offer to take it home. We took some home, which was Häagen-Dazs vanilla and strawberry, with a spoon, and it was placed in a plastic bag. After that, all you had to do was go to the reception desk when you left your room and your session was over. It seemed like they were making full use of the limited space to expand the range of services available. The sauna and cold bath were both excellent, and the other amenities and services were also substantial. It was fantastic.
