Under the Rose Club

Such a cute sauna and cold plunge experience! They thought through every detail, it’s so cozy and community focused. And, every inch feels so so clean, which is sometimes hard to find with a cold plunge! The music inside is such a nice touch, would highly recommend!

Beautiful sauna social club in Vancouver! Really nice easygoing vintage vibes with a beautiful lounge space, change room, 20 person dry sauna, 3 cold tubs, towels/sandals/robes and tea station. I first came here for an evening sauna social and loved it. Loved meeting new people and the free flow sauna and cold plunge experience. Today, I experienced the breath and sound class with Zoe. Wow, it was simply phenomenal. A 90 minute experience starting at 8pm, offered on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Started with guided breathwork in the sauna with a small group - really connected with my breath and every part of the body. This was followed by the guided cold plunge and it was perfect after the heat. We went back inside the sauna for a second round with asmr sound experience. To end the evening, we had the sound bath inside. Everyone had a yoga mat and blanket and it was so relaxing with the therapeutic sounds. We had another 15 minutes to sauna, cold plunge, relax and drink more tea. Overall, 10/10 experience! Can’t wait to come back.

I like Under the Rose! It’s a hidden gem. I found out about Under the Rose recently when my regular sauna and cold plunge place closed and the other in my neighbourhood was undergoing renovations. The first time I went the tubs weren’t quite cold enough, but when I went today they were perfectly cold. The sauna is nice and hot, and I like the back rests they have in there. They have a cozy lounge area and you can tell the overall ambiance has been thoughtfully crafted. I especially appreciate how they provide sandals, robes, and towels, with ample room to relax. Can’t wait to be back!

So incredibly surprised and delighted by Under the Rose. I’ve been doing sauna for many years now and I’m so glad to see these spaces popping up in the city. I’ve previously gone to Tality and Gatherwell for sauna sessions, but with both closed atm I spoke to a fellow sauna goer who told me about Under the Rose. I’d been to the Ellis building many times over many years so I wasn’t sure what I was going to find but the space is absolutely amazing. Retro, clean, cozy MCM style cabin vibes. The sauna gets nice and hot with 2 bench levels and they have 3 cold plunge tubs. Sitting in the relaxation space feels like a retro fantasy, with tea, a record station and so many places to lounge. Needless to say, I’ve found my new favourite Sauna Club. 10/10!

i had an amazing experience here and will definitely be back. the vibe is cool and relaxed. they limit the amount of ppl in one session so it’s not crowded. they have three cold plunges, one is without ice so it’s not as cold which is perfect for beginners. the sauna is spacious and stays very hot. the staff are super friendly and explain everything clearly to you. the lounge area is cute and they have complimentary tea and water. also this spot is cheaper than some other sauna/cold plunge spots.
