First time trying Uptown Korea and I was impressed. The Beef Kimbap was fresh and tasty, and the Rose Tteokbokki was creamy, flavorful, and not overly spicy. Portions were decent and everything tasted freshly made. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. A great spot for a quick Korean meal in the area. Would happily come back again.
Absolutely love stopping by Uptown Korea & pop up, Matcha Haru! The Korean food is delicious, the matcha bingsu, an absolute highlight with fine shaves of ice. The matcha mango and yuzu hojicha drinks are the perfect complement. It’s such a great spot to grab a meal and a drink to match — casual, tasty, and definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!
I recently visited Uptown Korea and had a great experience. The venue offers a fun take on Korean street food with a wide range of classic dishes such as tteokbokki, sundae, kimbap, and Korean corndogs. Everything was flavorful and really captured the authentic street food vibe. One of the highlights is the ability to mix and match your own drinks by pairing spirits with Korean beverages and fruit ades, which adds a unique and interactive element to the experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy good food and drinks with friends. If you’re looking for Korean street food in Sydney with a bit of a twist, this spot is definitely worth checking out.
Such an underrated spot in Burwood! Tucked behind the main street, you can find the some of the best Korean street food that at least I’ve tried in Sydney! I was so impressed by how quickly the food came out even though at the time we visited there was only one staff member running the place. We got the Rose Tteokbokki with Cheese, Sundae, Ham and Cheese Kimbap and Korean Hot Dog and everything was fresh and delicious. The tteokbokki especially had a really nice creamy texture that was a good mix of slightly spicy, sweet and cheesy! Highly recommend if you’re ever craving korean food in Burwood!
I’m honestly so excited because now I can grab all my favourite Korean street foods without travelling to the city! They’ve got kimbap, cold noodles, spicy rice cakes, bento box, corn dog and so much more — everything tastes super authentic 👍 Their rose tteokbokki is so good, and the cold noodles are absolutely perfect for this weather! So if you’re in the area and craving a quick, convenient yet delicious meal, make sure to check out Uptown Korea Burwood! 💛
