YORI Korean BBQ Restaurant (King's Cross)

Do not come here with high expectations and take a gas mask with you. The food is at best mid, the selection of meat looks good on the paper but the it is really chewy and badly seasoned. There is no smoke extractor so your eyes and nose will suffer. The tables and the grill are really sticky and better not visit the toilet. They are really understaffed and it takes a long time for the food to come and they tend to forget to bring stuff.

Do not order from here they will try to scam you. They sent me chicken coating with a side of chicken when I ordered their soy garlic chicken which was FOURTEEN great British pounds btw. and we didn’t even enough chicken to make one single wing. To top things off it was all stale :D. We also ordered soft tofu jjigae which comes with tofu, seafood and egg. As you can see in the video there’s ONE seafood piece between two bowls and NO EGG. Actually disgusting that they think they can scam people like this. We still haven’t received our full refund for this when I called up immediately and they said they would. DO NOT COME HERE.

We order a bibimbaps, beef stew and Yori BBQ selection and dissappointed. Can you imagine the Bibimbaps arrive cold and Stew serve lukewarm. The stew is salty and no beef favouring at all. I notice the Bibimbaps bowl has cracked. I reject the 1st grill plate as it is stil dirty with thich grease stain on, 2nd one is better still not complately clean but I don't have other choice. The oil they use to brush the plate smell off and old. The meat is lack of favourite, and the ribeye has turned brown after cook the taste is not right. The pork isn't cut properly which make it diffult to cook evenly and the favoring not as nice compare to other Korean restaurant. The chicken meat taste nothing like chicken, we didn't eat at all. Same as one reviewer, we didnt get the standard 3 welcome starter but the table came after us order the same food and less than us received it. We only finish the food and our appetite already ruined so we leave it.

The food was really delicious and well-prepared, with great quality meats and tasty side dishes. The service was excellent — our server Samanta was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Everything came out quickly and we felt well looked after. Would definitely come back!

I ordered from Yori via Uber Eats and it was an absolutely great experience from start to finish. The delivery was fast and right on time, and the food arrived untouched and very well packed, which really made a difference. The portion sizes were generous and the taste was honestly unbelievable—everything was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. I especially loved how fresh everything felt despite being delivered. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I’m genuinely very impressed. I highly recommend Yori Korean restaurant and I will definitely be ordering again.
