I am not sure how this place has so many good reviews. It was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a while. The bibimbap was not good, the beef bulgogi was awful, we had to return the pork belly I am not sure what that was supposed to be. I even didn’t know Korean fried chicken can be so bad, it’s fried chicken! The waiter spent half his time packing delivery orders and the entrance was full of the delivery drivers making it quite unpleasant. With all the good restaurants in London I would never suggest anyone go here.
Ordered the pork goon mandu and haemool kimchi jeon. the jeon was really tasty, had some nice bits of seafood in there and good flavour from the kimchi as well but was very oily. was also pretty disappointed with the goon mandu, small serving size and pretty tasteless. in general felt it was quite expensive for what was served. Friendly service
It’s been ages since I’ve been to Yori, but the warm welcome from Tam & Pema was lovely, and they made sure I had everything I needed. Despite it being a busy evening, they were both very attentive - Thank you! 🙂 Just a tip: the prawn bokkeumbap is slightly peppery, which I don’t mind at all, but it may not be to everyone's taste.
As Korean bbqs go, nothing to complain about, not a huge variety of meats and veg for bbq to choose from though. The number of other Korean dishes is pretty limited as well competed to other Korean restaurants. What they do serve though was decent.
Had a lovely time celebrating my brothers birthday, the staff were so sweet and gave my brother a free mocktail! Overall service was great, very attentive throughout our stay. Special shout out to Tamz, brilliant service I had the Tteokbokki- this was ok, I’d prefer if it was spicier but that’s nothing crazy. It’s worth noting that you can ask the staff to scrape any excess from the grill when it gets messy!
