I headed to Zion Market over the weekend, enticed by their significant sale event. Zion Market has earned quite a commendable reputation, originating in California and upholding that status since the opening of their first store in Duluth. Despite not being an expansive supermarket, they are renowned for offering high-quality grocery products. The weekend sale drew a substantial crowd, with people flocking for discounted items like rice, brown rice, butane fuel, tofu, green onions (offering 10 bundles for $1.00), and a diverse array of instant noodles. As I completed my purchases and glanced at my receipt, I noticed an oversight – one of the sale items, dried soup stock seafood, had been charged at the regular price, tallying up to nearly $6.00 difference. The cashier promptly directed me to the manager, who attentively assessed the situation and acknowledged the error. Opting not to proceed with the purchase, the manager swiftly facilitated the refund process. It was a seamless resolution and didn't sour my overall experience. I would certainly recommend this grocery market, which remains a reliable destination despite the minor hiccup.

Everybody is so welcoming there!! The atmosphere itself is super nice and everything is so clean. Their produce is amazing as well. The apples are humongous. I also like the way everything is organized. Should definitely visit!

Lately, Everytime I checkout. I will need to have the clerks price check 1 or 2 items that have been advertised in the sales paper. Because the displayed sales price and system price are definitely different. Everytime, the clerk would go back to the sales sign, snatch it down, and tell me that the price is correct in the system. Plus the marinade meats flavor seems to be muted. I recently bought 1lb marinated beef bulgogi and 1lb Teriyaki Chicken. It seems as if either the meats aren't sitting in the marinade long enough. Or the marinade is now being made with more water causing the marinade meats to be under seasoned.

I got to see my spiritual brothers there doing the cart and get some good groceries. The samples of marinated beef and fruit were really good. Great prices on things and I can't wait to try these spicy chicken feet. So I will definitely be back.

Very nice Asian store and lower prices than H-Mart. Many vegetables and fruits can be also bought by the box to save even more. In their deli you can find many semi prepared foods, which you can finish at home. Good selection of animal parts not normally sold in American grocery stores.
